The suite of our services can support small local developments and massive infrastructure projects alike.
Below is a snapshot of past projects in which we have proudly delivered our truck and dog hire, plant hire and earth moving services. The scope of these works and prestige of our partners indicates our consistently reliable, professional performance.
We are proud to have customers big and small, private and public, who are happy to return to our services.

We are working with with the Victorian Government, Transurban, CPB Contractors and John Holland to provide all earth moving services in delivering the West Gate Tunnel Project, a key civil infrastructure project that will provide an alternative to the West Gate Bridge, linking in with major Melbourne road projects such as the Monash Freeway and Webb Dock upgrades.
From initial site scrape to ultimate site cleans, we have continued to provide our earth moving services and supports every step of the way.

We are working with Rail Projects Victoria to deliver the Melbourne Metro Tunnel.
While four tunnel boring machines (TBM) have been digging separate channels underneath Melbourne, we have been there every step of the way with our truck, plant and earth moving equipment to keep the project tunnelling toward completion.
Metro tunnel is being constructed in a series of work packages, for which we have been consistently flexible, adaptable and reliable.

We are working on the Victorian Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) to remove 75 dangerous rail-road level crossings across the state by 2025. The project involves both raising and lowering the current rail lines, involving site scrapes, site cleans and a whole lot of earth moving and excavation.
We have helped remove over 100,000 cubic meters of soil per kilometre of rail. We pride ourselves on being a reliable partner, mobilising the project team working around the clock to minimise disruption to Victorians.

We have started work on the biggest road transport project in Victoria’s history, the North East Link.
Installing this missing road link in Melbourne’s freeway network will slash travel times between north and south-east of the city.
This year over 100 power, water, gas, sewer and telecommunication lines and services above and below ground will be moved out of the way of the North East Link.
Removal & transport of material will be a mammoth task, but our fleet at Active Transport is up for the task.

One of our first projects in partnership with LXRP, we helped complete the Mernda Rail Project connecting one of Victoria’s fastest growing areas to the metropolitan train network.
This brand new rail line included 8kms of new track, and set the foundations for our solid working relationship with LXRP and civil infrastructure partners.

In connection with the Commonwealth and Victorian Governments, we are working to deliver the Regional Rail Revival program tasked with upgrading every regional rain line across the state of Victoria.
From new stations and rail bridges to stabling tracks, our fleet has been on the task no matter where in the state.
